Channel Studio Headphone Amplifier
Eight Individual Headphone Amps
The HA1600 is constructed with 8 individual amplifier channels, allowing for 8 users to independently control their headphone volume levels. Each channel has a high power output capable of powering any type of monitoring headphone to levels suitable for any musician.
Each Channel has it own Dedicated Input
The HA1600 features 'main inputs', which allow 1 signal to be sent into the headphone amp for all users (up to 8) to hear. Though each channel also has the ability to accept its own independent (direct) signal, allowing for a unique signal to be sent to 1 particular user. This is perfect for use during studio recordings, where different musicians require their own headphone mix. Its common place to use a mixing consoles AUX send channels for these monitor mixes.
2 Separate Main Inputs
The HA1600's versatility is enhanced by the ability to accept 2 individual main mixes, and allow the user to toggle between main mix 1 and 2 by pushing a button on the front of the unit. This could be useful if using the headphone amp with more than 1 mixing console, giving an easy way to change between the two consoles without swapping cables. It would also give a studio engineer the ability to create different mixes for musicians to select between.
